This is how it all started…

FemmeStats was born out of a mix of frustration and a long-overdue wake-up call. After far too many instances of giving in when I shouldn’t have, letting men take the lead in conversations they were clearly wrong about, and realising that my silence was part of the problem, I decided enough was enough.

Around the same time I read a book about how real change begins with knowing your facts – it hit me! If you want to inspire change, you need to be armed with the truth, and that’s exactly what FemmeStats is about. It’s a space for data, stories, and conversations to help women stand their ground, spark meaningful change, and never settle for “that’s just how it is” again.
